💌 Insomnia is Hard

My Story

After graduating, I started working at a high-intensity consulting firm, often working past midnight and pulling all-nighters. By the time the weekend came, I was always exhausted, trying to catch up on sleep lost during the week. This severely disrupted my sleep schedule—sometimes I slept at 3 a.m., sometimes at 1 p.m., and other times at 10 a.m.

One day, I realized I hadn't been able to fall asleep until dawn for several weeks, and I was experiencing palpitations, nausea, and intense fear.

My boss, who suffered from more severe insomnia, understood my struggle and suggested sleeping pills. This marked the beginning of a nearly five-year nightmare. Although the pills initially helped me fall asleep quickly and enjoy baby-like sleep quality, I soon found myself dependent on them. Without the pills, I couldn't sleep.

As time went on, the medication became less effective. I had to either double the dose or switch to a new pill, repeating the vicious cycle of "developing tolerance—increasing dosage—switching medication."

During these years, I was troubled by severe migraines and brain fog during the day due to the side effects. At night, I felt panic, exhaustion, and frustration, knowing I couldn't sleep without medication. Nothing else helped: meditation, aromatherapy, yoga, hot baths, soft music, steam eye masks, weighted blankets—none worked.

What about now?

However, I eventually cured my insomnia and quit sleeping pills on my own( using method that we will discuss later in detail). As of now, I haven't taken any sleeping pills for nine months. I naturally fall asleep around 11 p.m. and wake up around 7 a.m. every day.

It feels like a new lease on life, and I hope everyone visiting this website can experience the happiness of surviving and thriving after such a challenge.

That's why I made this website. I really hope I could find this simple method ealier so that I could suffer less all those years.
